About the event
William Shakespeare’s
A Midsummer Night’s Dream
Directed by Meghan N. Cronin
Assistant Directed by Bill Herring
One of Shakespeare’s most famous comedies… with a glitzy new twist! It's the Roaring 20’s and societal strictures give way to youthful rebellion. Young lovers run away to the glam-filled underworld, seeking the freedom they don’t have at court. They are pursued by two of their peers, one trying to stop the pair and one hoping to win back her lost love. A rag-tag group of blue-collar workers prepare a play for the Duke’s upcoming wedding. But they all find themselves caught in the magical crossfire of a marital spat gone awry.
